Webwork for Crested Butte Mountain Resort

This is a collection of work that was created using photographs I shot both before and during my employment with CBMR. The micro sites were created using Dreamweaver and the photo galleries were created using a template offered in Flash.

Summer 2003 Mico Site
This is a mini site celebrating summer in Crested Butte. Using pictures I shot the previous summer, this micro site was used as a landing page from an email blast. It was also linked from the resort site. It was fun to create, but took too long. I was going for something of a flash site, but without flash. It appears to "break" in Safari but views well in Firefox and Internet Explorer.

New Snow Flash Gallery
In anticipation of the coming ski season, I put together a flash gallery using a template from within flash showcasing images shot in the morning and delivered via email the same afternoon.

Email Marketing
We concentrated our online marketing efforts at Crested Butte Mountain Resort by communicating deals, news, and snow alerts with our email list monthly - or daily if the user opted into our snow reporting. I created a template to match the message; Hot Deals, Real Estate, Snow Reporting and Special Events and changed the content for each new email. Here are a few samples.

>> This is a two-part email that began with a simple message; "Disconnect"
>> Summer Specials - summer micro site invite
>> Crested Butte's Arts Festival lodging special
>> December book early in-season special
>> January Hot Deal
>> Houston Airfair Special
>> Save Your Pass - season pass sales
>> Preseason Special - Saab Sponsorship - photo by Tom Stillo
>> Butte Bash College promotion - photo by Tom Stillo

Fall Flash
Another flash gallery with photos I shot throughout a day or two and used for a micro site this time showcasing the fall colors and promotions.

Media Image Gallery
Crested Butte Mountain Resort needed a way to distribute photos to media, advertising, and other outlets easily without having to use email for every request. To try and allow for easier access to our Hi-Rez digital imagery, I created another min-site and used images I shot as a way to demonstrate it.

Town Panorama
On a slow day after the season was over I put together a panorama view of the town and posted online.
